We hope you and yours are having a wonderful summer and enjoying the milder weather we've had this year—except, of course, the horrific flooding that changed so much forever. We are not ignoring this tragedy, and are continuing to support where we can. It is with a mix of emotions that we move forward in our lives and businesses.
This exhibit is hopeful. That's what art can do and why artists are so important. Certainly, we cannot sustain ourselves on art alone, but neither can we thrive without it among us. So please do yourselves a big favor, and spend a bit of time enjoying the gifts of these deeply seeing and feeling people among us.
We encourage you to come see Spring Mix during its final weekend and a have spritzer while you look. Then be sure to save the date for our next show entitled The Return: A West Texas Retrospective featuring the work of Douglas Galloway, because it's just as hopeful, full of color, texture, and sensorial memories—the sort that remind us of the tiny tactile experiences that make going through life as human beings beautiful and worth it.
